Systems and Integration and Custom Programs Using LabVIEW

MSE Optical Systems has adopted the National Instrument’s LabVIEW™ development environment for systems integration of test equipment. MSE has specializes in  vision systems, data acquisition, and opto-electronics but has expertise in many other application areas.  We specialize in complete system integration.

Any system that is IEEE 488, RS-232/485, USB, Firewire (IEEE-1394), PCI or PXI bus ready is a candidate for a LabVIEW virtual instrument (VI) interface and control program.  Embedded systems can now be developed using LabVIEW using the RealTime OS.

Additionally discrete analog and digital signal analysis and control is possible with add on interface boards.

LabVIEW is the standard of computer graphical programming languages. It runs under Windows, MAC, Linux , and Sun OS. Windows is our preferred development environment.  We also have a Mac and Linux systems available for development.  LabVIEW can execute external programs and can read other file formats and thus serve as a master controller.

If your customers need a LabVIEW driver for your instrument we can develop one and package it with a stand alone application to drive your product. We can also write custom applications for your customer for you to resell.

MSE  can quickly develop applications you can distribute with your instruments royalty free. The team can also do complete test systems integration utilizing your equipment.

If you need:

  • Process control with visual icons and indicators
  • Motion control of any motor system
  • Signal processing of an analog or digital signals
  • Computer control of IEEE, PCI bus,  or serially (USB, etc) interfaced test equipment
